The departure of the cable car takes place at the train and bus station of Le Fayet, a major hub where both summer and winter TGV, TER (from Paris, Lyon, Annecy...), and Facilibus bus lines (100% ecological shuttles/skibuses free of charge from Saint-Gervais) stop. An adjacent parking lot (stadium parking) with 200 spaces also offers long-term parking possibilities. The first section arrives at the center of the village of Saint Gervais (850m). The project also includes the replacement of the second section (from Saint-Gervais to Le Bettex) which marked the birth of the ski area in 1936. The two cable cars are directly linked within a single intermediate station, thus improving traffic flow.
